We would like to take this opportunity to say “thank you” for being so patient over the past few months. It has been a massive undertaking to keep the wheels in motion while organising a new shop. As we near completion of our adventure we hope you will appreciate our new and improved salon.
To put to rest your wonders about our story of late, here is a quick insight.
Due to the development at Macgregor Terrace (Coles), our rent was to increase quite substantially! We decided it was time for us to move on and look for a better property and location. We very quickly realised just how much we were out of touch with the market value of commercial leasing in the inner city of Brisbane. So, to keep Four Paw in business, keep our awesome staff employed and offer you a better service in a better location, we have made a few changes coinciding with a new price structure.

- Pets no longer at the salon for more than their scheduled appointment. This means less dogs and a quieter and calmer environment.
- You will need to ensure you arrive at the time of your appointment and collect your pet when they are complete.
- Your pet will be handled by the same groomer from start to finish. This is a more personalised service, and your pet will feel more at ease and confident in their groomer.

We know we have amazing clients and can trust that everyone will be kind and considerate to our staff during this transition, so please keep these things in mind:
- For the past 15 years we have been able to pass on the savings of our rent at Macgregor Tce to our clients.
- We do not make these decisions lightly, and this has been an exceptionally long, stressful and tedious process for our team and our families.
- We are charging these new prices because it is necessary to stay in business.
- We need to be realistic about the true value of the grooming we offer. Our time, our premium products and equipment and our strength and tenacity. This is especially relevant for the number of large to giant dogs we groom daily. Most of these large breeds take us 3 ½ to 4 hours. Consider how much it costs when sitting at your hairdresser for this amount of time.
